We are on a plane to Jersey.  Last night in Vegas was hard to explain.  It was very powerful. 

 1.  The worship before hand was amazing.  The worship leader had such a strong call on him and then the other singers were just going for it in the area of mercy and justice.  And I have to note that the bass player was soooo amazing.  Bass players due to the nature of their instrument seems to be a certain way often but this guy played with such intention and purpose.  It was great to see.

  2. The crowd.  There were SO receptive.  I am bad with numbers but i think there were at least 300 or so there.  But it wasn't the numbers as much as it was the response.  LOVED the heart of the people.

3.  The show was just a great performance.  The lighting guy nailed it and the set up of the stage was really strong.  Shekinah had her best performance yet.  All the pieces were just that much stronger.

4.  The offering  - the finances are going towards the stopping of human trafficking.  A topic we haven't had a chance to parter with so we were very happy to.

The team I think was more tired yesterday than today.  My kids seem better today than they did yesterday though Cash is sleeping right now and the girls I think are too.  They are in the seat behind me with Pam the nanny :)

I think the dancers are going to go to NY for a few days while I do the conference in Jersey.  That will be fun for them.  I however am looking very forward to the jersey conference..... nap time :)

We are just descending.  Shekinah and Cash slept this whole entire flight.  Thank God cause Shekinah was so tired.  Last week we were camping and the kids and I watched Alvin and the chipmunks.  I kept thinking of those chipmunks being on tour and getting tired every time the kids were tired.  The coffee scene kept going through my head!!  Not likely!  I think we are going straight to the venue once we land.  I am sure our muscles will be sore and tight being it's the 3rd day in a row of shows and we have been sitting for 4 hours on the plane.  We will have to do some good warm up stuff.

I am a bit concerned about my voice.  It's a bit sore and rough but I am praying it will make it through the conference and all the rest.

We are packed and having a coffee. Getting ready to go to Manhattan this morning for shopping and lunch. We got some good rest last night. My introverted side is needing some down time and today's not that. I think we might go to the hotel early though before sound check tonight so maybe I'll get a down moment there. Kate is playing Simon says with the kids keeping them distracted.

We stayed in a house last night that slept 11 of us ALL ON ONE FLOOR! Very large house. So far the trip has been what I expected. I'm not disappointed and i'm not like "this is better than I thought". I had expected it to be really great but tiring and that's what it is. Each day seems like 4. That's what the girls were saying. We were in Vegas for less than 24 hours and it seemed like we were there for a few days.
