What is Journey?

For the past years I have tried to turn the seasons of my life into a music journal so to speak, writing and leading songs that express the seasons that I have walked through along with what I have felt the body of Christ has been going through.   I have called this "Journey Through Worship"

For those who join, they receive these recordings throughout the year.  Some of the recordings come from live worship services that I lead at throughout the year, others are personal worship times with  just me and my instrument.

This year 2010 will include 3 CDs (by the grace of God):  A CHILDREN'S ALBUM, A SOAKING CD, AND MY FIRST RELEASE UNDER JESUS CULTURE MUSIC.  All 3 of those CDs' will be released to the public and will be included in your subscription.

The rest of the music is music that will only be released to those who subscribe.  I pray throughout the year for those who are part of the journey that the music would reach into your hearts and minister to you in each season that you are in.

Come and join me for 2010 on yet another year, that we would worship in all seasons of life, giving ourselves to praise whether in the valley or on the mountain top!

Journey Through Worship's 3 year

Entering into the third year of Journey, there are a few thoughts that I have about 2009.  First of all the "theme" of the year will be a line from a song I wrote and that line is "laid down lover".  The scripture that I think of for this year is from Psalm 23 "He makes me lay down in green pastures."  God comes to us and refreshes us in a place of plenty.  His yoke is easy and His burden light and it's a time to rest in His promises, knowing that He is in charge and will take care to do what He says He'll do.

Roman's 12:1:  I beseech you therefore in view of the mercies of God to present yourselves as living sacrifices before the Lord for THIS is your reasonable act of worship!"  Our worship this year is to lay down before the Lord present ourselves without agenda and let our lives be a fragrance before Him.

THOSE WHO WERE MEMBERS OF 2008:  There is still one more download to come for the final download of 2008. Please keep checking. It will be up within the week. - heather
