| Statement of Faith |

There are a variety of beliefs in the body of Christ, yet we are one body! As a minister, I am able to travel and participate in many circles from charismatic to baptist, renewal to pentecostal. Each one has a beautiful expression though not all agree on doctrine. I may not agree completely with each ministry that I will partner with but together we join for the furthering of the Kingdom and glory of God. Here is my statement of faith! GODHEAD We believe in One God, eternal, infinite, and almighty, perfect in His entirety, revealed in the trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. THE FATHER We believe in God the Father who is above all and through all, and in all. He is the maker of all things seen and unseen. He is the God of glory, the Father of lights, and the giver of every good and perfect gift. He is the sovereign source and sustainer of all things. He guides and governs, ruling with wisdom. His kingdom presides over all. THE SON We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ the Son of God, Word of the Father, God of God, and Light of Light. All things were made through Him and for Him. He was in the beginning with God and is God. He is the Word made flesh, descended from heaven, born of the Virgin Mary. He is the fullness of divinity clothed in humanity, fully God and fully man. He is the Prophet from heaven, the full revelation of the Father. He is the perfect Priest, the sinless Sacrifice, and the eternal Intercessor. He is the King of heaven and earth, the righteous Ruler, the Judge of the living and the dead. He is the Savior of the world, taking our humanity in His incarnation, our sin in His crucifixion, and destroying death by His resurrection. He ascended to the highest heaven where He rules as the exalted Lord of all. THE SPIRIT We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son and is one with them in all things. He is glorified as God, enthroned in equality, and worshipped in the trinity. He reveals and regenerates, convicts and comforts, seals and sanctifies, indwells and empowers. We receive all His gifts and graces, and honor all His attributes and activities. He came to glorify the Son, who in turn came to glorify the Father. MAN We believe God made man, male and female, as the image of God and the crown of His creation. Though created by God and for His glory, tempted by Satan man rebelled against his Maker, falling from his original state of innocence and glory. We believe that in the fall of our first parents, Adam and Eve, all humanity fell. Though still retaining remnants of the image and light of God, all mankind is now subject to the darkness of death and judgment, being sinners by nature and choice. The depravity of man is so pervasive that apart from God’s saving grace man is utterly unable to save himself. Under the dominion of Satan, sin and self, mankind is estranged from and opposed to the kingdom and authority of God. As such, man must be born again to enter into the kingdom. SALVATION We believe that salvation, the justification, sanctification and glorification of man, is of the Lord. It is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, for God’s glory alone. GRACE ALONE Salvation is by grace from first to last. God’s grace unconditionally elects, irresistibly calls, and effectually keeps. It is grace that regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and glorifies the elect. Grace elected us, became flesh for us, became sin for us, was buried for us, rose for us, regenerated us, and will return for us. FAITH ALONE We believe salvation is through faith alone. We are justified through faith, sanctified through faith, and persevere through faith. This faith is a believing faith, trusting in Christ and His work of salvation. It is a receiving faith, embracing Christ and His gift of eternal life. It is a uniting faith, bringing the believer into Christ and His kingdom of grace. It is a living faith, working by love. It is an enduring faith, overcoming the world. The righteous will live by faith. CHRIST ALONE Christ alone is the Savior of humanity. There is no other mediator. He stands uniquely as the God-man who reconciled heaven and earth. He alone bore the sins of the world, and the wrath of God on Calvary’s cross. He alone destroyed death by His resurrection. He alone sits at the right hand of God as our intercessor. He alone gives eternal life to all who receive Him. GLORY ALONE Man was created to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. The fall of man was a fall from God’s glory and life. Salvation’s great grace restores men to a greater glory. The saints are to live their entire lives before the face of God, under the authority of God, and for the glory of God alone. In Him they will find endless glory and pleasures forevermore. SCRIPTURE ALONE We believe in God’s written Word, inspired and inerrant, complete and sufficient. These Scriptures, consisting of the sixty six books of the Old and New Testament, are alone the full and final authority on all matters of faith and doctrine. The Bible is of infallible divine authority in all matters upon which it touches. It is to be believed as God’s Word in all that it affirms, trusted as God’s history in all that it records, obeyed as God’s command in all that it requires, and embraced as God’s pledge in all that it promises. THE CHURCH We believe in the Church Universal, consisting of all the saints, in all places and through all ages, saved by God’s grace. The Church is the body of Christ and the fullness of Him who fills all in all. We believe in the local church, the visible expression of Christ. It is the kingdom community, gathered in unity, for His worship, His word, and His work. We affirm both the priesthood of all believers and the governing gifts of Christ’s leaders. We celebrate two sacraments; baptism and the Lord’s Supper, to be remembered and received until His return. THE KINGDOM We believe in the kingdom of God, the presence of the future, now and not yet, the powers of the age to come. The kingdom came in the Christ, was declared in His teachings, displayed in His miracles, and demonstrated in His authority over man, nature, devils, disease and death. It continues in the Spirit, increasing through the ages, until the fullness of all things. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done. THE CONSUMMATION We believe in the literal, powerful, visible and glorious return of Jesus Christ at the end of the age. Then will come the end when He consummates the kingdom, putting an end to all rule and authority, destroying death, and removing all evil. He will then judge the living and the dead. The righteous will inherit the kingdom with everlasting life and eternal joy, while the wicked will be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord. There will be a new heaven and a new earth in the age of glory at the perfection of all things. Even so come Lord Jesus.
